JJJJOUND x S.N.S. HERNING

Knitted watch cap - with JJJJound tags inside.

We have collaborated with Montreal-based JJJJound on a knitted cap, and a quarter-zip sweater blending both of our aesthetics in the finest way.

The original sweater—born as a true original—was created for the Danish Civil Defense in the 1970s, embodying strength and resilience rooted in functional aesthetics; today, we call it the FENDER-III sweater.

The collaboration with JJJJound felt natural, as we have long admired their minimalist yet thoughtful design approach. Partnering with a connoisseur can unite two lines of thought into a shared, clear vision.

JJJJound’s suggestion was deceptively simple: to add woven Japanese fabric on the forearms—a distinctive detail, especially since we haven’t used non-knitted fabric since the 1980s.

The result is a mini collection that is beautiful, strong, and versatile, designed to be both timeless and functional.

The sweaters and caps are produced in a very limited edition.
